Come Join Our Team!!

Bring your knowledge, skills, and experience to work with other service minded volunteers to make a difference in your community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Aid Society of the District of Nipissing and Parry Sound. The Children’s Aid Society provides services that support families, enhance the environment of home and community, ensure the safety of children, youth and the family, and establishes partnerships with other community services. As a member of the Board of Directors you will help promote the well-being and protection of children and youth in our area.

Take a few minutes to look over the materials in the package which describes the varied services the Children’s Aid Society completes in addition to child protection. Many of these programs provide support for parents and families to prevent the necessity of children coming into care.

The Board member’s job description will give you a good idea of what is involved in Board participation.
