The Children’s Aid Society of the District of Nipissing is always in need of money to improve the organization. Although we are funded by the Province there are many areas where we donot receive funding. Examples include building projects are not 100% funded, services to children not directly in our care, costs of sending children to camp, and emergency services to families. Donations made to the Society may go to any of the above areas depending on the needs of the Society.

Donations to support Bursaries

The Society presently has two bursaries that you can donate directly to, the Betty Ralph Award which goes to the child in our care who has shown the most improvement over the last year and the Ronald L. Lees Adoption Bursary for a children who has been adopted and is furthering his / her education. We are very interested in receiving donations directly to either one of these funds or in setting up another bursary or award recognizing any other individual.

Donations for specific projects or clients

You may wish to make a donation for a specific purpose or have the money directed towards a particular client. We receive many donations directed towards helping a family that is in a financial crisis.
