Are you and your children having a great March Break so far? With St. Patrick’s Day approaching we have tons of fun local events for you and your family:

Ontario Early Years Centre – Nipissing

Stay and Play all day. St. Patrick’s Day Crafts. At 12:30 pm Circle: Literacy rich songs, rhymes, finger plays and stories for everyone.

Game On: Retro Game Week at Discovery North Bay Museum

Discovery North Bay Museum invites visitors of all ages to join us for March Break during our Retro Video Game Week. This event provides the opportunity for families to play retro games on Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and Intellivision consoles. 
All activities are included with regular admission of $7 for adults, $6 for students, and $5 for youth age 12 and under. Admission is free for children under 5 years old. Admission includes unlimited gaming. Anyone interested in loaning a console for the event is asked to email

Free Youth Centre

Free for youth aged 10 - 18 who are interested in field sports, health & wellness, outdoor skills, field-trips and arts. Program runs until June. 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Please note that this is a drop in/drop out program for youth 10-18 and therefore we endorse the responsibility of the youth to arrange with parents/guardians their best route to and from Caldwell-Ellam Community Centre.
