Downtown Car Show 
James and Gibson Street will be closed.  Antique and classic cars will be set up.  Food vendors will be on site.  Come down and vote for your favourite car.

Louise de Kiriline Lawrence Nature Festival
This Saturday August 18th from 9am to 3pm come on out to the 5th Annual Louise de Kiriline Lawrence Nature Festival at Laurier Woods Conservation Area, in the heart of North Bay. Bring the family for a free day of fun, exploring and learning about nature. This year featuring special guests ENTOMICA with their hands-on live exotic insectarium all the way from Sault Ste. Marie. Lots of interactive activities for all ages, including learning about wetland plants and animals, children’s activities, nature crafts, local pollinators and how to build a pollinator home, learn to paint and take part in the community art project with some of the 45th Parallel Painters from Muskoka, and much more.

Join the 8th Annual Community Yard Sale as a vendor or participant. For $5.00 your location can be added to a Community Yard Sale Map available to participants wanting to plan their route to ensure each location is hit.

Thanks to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Dunchurch Legion, they are holding an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday August 19, from 9am to Noon. 
For Pancakes, Sausage and local Maple Syrup, the cost is $10 for adults, children $5.
