Another long weekend is here, and we have lots of fall fairs happening in the area! Get out and have fun and meet the community.

Powassan Fall Fair
Our 123rd Fall Fair! We have the traditional Heavy Horse Pulls and our wildly popular Demolition Derby. We have our mainstay of fall fairs, the adult & children's competitions of Horticulture, Baking, Needlework, Arts & Crafts. We have a Speaking of Wildlife Show this year, featuring a static table display featuring 4-5 of our native Ontario wildlife ambassadors as well as natural history artifacts and interactive activities.
There will be our regular Poultry & Rabbit Show. Steve Featherstone with his Reptile Adventure Camp. We have a Goat educational display (with babies), a Rabbit educational display also. Penny Sale, Silent Auction, beer tent, local Vendors, Inflatable fun for the kids, Bingo.
($7 per day or $10 weekend wristband).

Smoke 'N' Spurs Festival
The Smoke ‘N’ Spurs Festival is excited to bring three Days of Fun-Filled, Action Packed Entertainment for the whole family to the town of Powassan. On Aug 31, Sept 1-2, 2018. The weekend promises to be an exciting one filled with kids’ activities, face-painting, exhibitors, displays, food, beer garden, LIVE entertainment, FMX Trick Riding, Truck & Tractor Pulls, the P.D Brooks Memorial Show & Shine and of course professional Rodeo.
Lots of family fun to be had, so saddle up and join us for the ride.

Magnetawan Fall Fair
The 141st Magnetawan Fall Fair takes place Saturday September 1st at the Magnetawan Fairgrounds from 8AM to 4PM with many activities and showcases. Be sure not to miss out on all the fun.

Hurdville Community Hall Pancake Breakfast And Lawn Sale
Enjoy John's famous Hurdville Pancakes, maple syrup and sausages. Cost is a freewill donation. Proceeds go to hall maintenance.

Join us on Saturday mornings at 11am for Cineplex Family Favourites. Watch a family favourite film each week for only $2.99. A portion of the proceeds goes towards supporting WE Charity. It's a fun and affordable way to enjoy the weekend with your family.

Makerspace & Lego Club
Makerspace: 12:00 - 1:00, Lego Club: 1:00 - 2:00 Weekly on Saturday. Starting at 12, tinker with some of the newest tech toys, gadgets and games. Then at 1:00, we break out the Lego and you can build the biggest, wildest creation you can think of.
