It is still not quite Halloween, but we hope that you will have loads of fun this weekend with these fun events:

Honey Fest
Taste local honey on freshly made bread. Purchase local honey. Talk to local beekeepers. Honey judging contest at 10am. Face painting. Lots of honey-flavoured kids' activities. It's all free family fun at 250 Clark in Powassan.

Stay and Play all day. Costume Parade. At 12:30 pm Circle: Literacy rich songs, rhymes, finger plays and stories for everyone. Daddy & Me: Enjoy a light snack and lots of fun with other dads and their children.

Horse Power for Youth Empowerment
Join us on for an empowerment event for youth 12 to 15 years of age. Through activities with the horses, we’ll be focusing on strengthening life skills: confidence and self-esteem; enhancement of emotional growth and resilience; help manage stress and anxiety; increase capacity for happiness, joy and compassion. $50 per person

Autumn Tea and Bazaar, Silent Auction and Cookie Walk
Come join us Saturday October 27th for our Annual Autumn Tea, Bazaar, Silent Auction and our famous Cookie walk. The bazaar room opens at 10:00 and goes until 2:00 p.m. and the Tea room opens at 11:00 and closes at 2:00 p.m. Please use the McIntyre Street side of the Church.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Event
Come out, pick up your shoebox, get a balloon for the little one and meet the human shoebox. Local and regional coordinators will be on location to answer questions and tell you all about how to pack a shoebox for a child in need.

Makerspace: 12:00 - 1:00, Lego Club: 1:00 - 2:00 Weekly on Saturday. Starting at 12, tinker with some of the newest tech toys, gadgets and games. Then at 1:00, we break out the Lego and you can build the biggest, wildest creation you can think of.

Attention all lill' ghosts, goblins and pumpkins.... Find your little one’s best costume and join us for our Spooktacular Kid's Halloween Party. Tickets are 10$ and include: a drink, lunch and a Lionel cookie for your child, treats, prizes for costumes, face painting and oodles of fun.
