Pitch-In Parry Sound 

Pitch-in and pick up trash in your neighbourhood, around your business, at the school or your favourite park or trail - we'll give you the gloves and bags to do it, and we'll even come and pick up your full bags.Email to register your project, and to receive free gloves and trash bags.

North Bay Sports & Athletic Show

The first-ever North Bay Sports and Athletic Show is being organized by volunteers at the North Bay Granite Club and presented by the new Overtime Sports Magazine. Vast array of sports organizations, sport businesses, and sport health professionals will take part in the 2-day event. The show will present an opportunity for parents and kids to obtain information regarding North Bay and are recreation options. Some groups will also be offering registration on the spot. Facility operators and sporting good retailers will be on-hand to guide you through their latest offerings and equipment.

Powassan Maple Syrup Festival 2017

The Powassan Maple Syrup Festival's 20th anniversary will be held on April 22, 2017. Shuttle Buses run 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Bus Stop for pick up and drop off (250 Clark St) - just east of the Library.  Buses will run from Clark Street to off site parking on Highway 534 and on to Matthews Sugar Bush and back - all day long. The event list is on the web site and includes main stage music, sheep shearing demo, cooking demos, pancake breakfast, lumberjack shows, and much more.

North Bay Minor Girls' Softball Registration Day

Look for us at the North Bay Sports and Athletic Show April 22-23 to register for the season. Located at the North Bay Granite Club Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am-4pm. 2017 Registration Form can be downloaded from the registration page and mailed with a cheque or at City Hall at the customer service desk (payment by cash, cheque, credit or debit available). We welcome all new and returning players from all local municipalities to join us in our house league and select programs. Bring a new friend to play and you both receive an extra discount off of both of your registrations. Sibling discounts also available (as always). Further funding available through KidSport North Bay. Everyone who registers before May 1st will get a free ball cap at their pre-season conditioning session in May. Starts at $50 for U8
