It’s Victoria Day long weekend, and the unofficial beginning of summer. It would be a crime not to use the first warm long weekend of the year to have some fun! We’ve prepared a list of local events for families:

Annual Plant, Bake Sale & Garage Sale Hosted by Strong Agricultural Society

Homemade baking, jams, jellies, and perennial plants and herbs and great prices. All found at the Heritage Museum. A garage sale will also be held in the Poultry building.

28th Season of The Magnetawan Farmers Market

The Magnetawan Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from May Long Weekend to Thanksgiving (May 20 to October 7) at the Lions Pavilion at the Community Centre on Sparks Street. Come out from 10am to 1pm to find local crafters and businesses

May Long Weekend Family/Beginner Trip

Beginner trip suitable for children over 5 years of age. Whether you want to try backcountry camping for the first time, introduce your children to backcountry camping, or just want to celebrate the official kickoff of summer. Contact us for more information.
