NAISA North Media Arts Centre Opening Month Events

Located in the centre of the village of South River, a short distance from Algonquin Park, at the building formerly known as Renée’s Café and Bean There Café. The gallery hours provide an opportunity for audiences to play the NAISA Sound Bash. Great for the entire family.

2017 Maamwi Kindaaswin Festival

North Bay Indian Friendship Centre’s Maamwi Kindasswin Pow Wow Celebration; This year is Honoring Our Grandmothers on June 10th and 11th at 800 Hundred Memorial Drive, Lee Park. Grand Entry is on Saturday at Noon and 7 p.m., Sunday at Noon. Sunrise Ceremony at 4:30 a.m. both days. It’s a Free event; bring your own water container, no camping on pow wow grounds. Authentic native craft vendors and food vendors on site. Please keep in mind that it is a drug and alcohol free event and no pets allowed. Funded by the Government of Ontario, the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre and the Apatisiwin program.

Family Dance Party: Going Bananas in Pajamas

Everyone's favourite family dance party returns a Pajama twist, letting your kids rock out in their jammies and hang out with reptiles to celebrate the end of the school year. Dog Wash for Dog Guides

Our Annual Dog Wash is to help raise even more Funds for the Walk for Dog Guides. Bring your dog for a wash and they will leave with a yummy treat and bandana. Washing is done by donation. Also we will be offering a charity BBQ so you can have something to eat while you wait.
