La Vase Portages Canoe Day

Join us for the day as we paddle and portage one of Canada's most famous canoe routes "La Vase Portages", a small section of the old Voyageur canoe route across Canada, between Trout Lake and Lake Nipissing.
July 22, 08:00 am, starts at Champlain Park, Lake Nipissing.


Portage-Neighborhood Yard Sale

Everyone is welcome to bring a table and your treasures to sell. Let's make this a fun neighborhood event. We all get to de-clutter and buy replacement treasures.

Pride March and Unity Picnic

A Pride march will gather at 11am at city hall with a path to the waterfront. Followed by a picnic for all.

Summer Challenge Presents - Sister Act The Musical

Summer Challenge is an enrichment art course offered through the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board summer school program that has been running since 2003. This program provides youth entering grade 6 through grade 12 the opportunity to develop acting, singing, dancing, and production skills.
This year we are taking on the fabulous story of Deloris Van Cartier and the sisters of The Holy Order of the Little Sisters of Our Mother of Perpetual Faith.
Come for the live performance to support our youth.
