Family Activities for August 5, 6

Long weekend has begun, and it looks like the weather is going to give us a break from the heat! Here is the list of local events for you are your family to enjoy:

Civic Weekend in North Bay

Annual Downtown event in partnership with Summer in the Park - including Moonlight Madness, Rage in a Cage (Street Dodgeball), Mayhem on Main, Summer in the Park Car Show.

  • Main Events for Saturday, August 5th, 2017 | 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Downtown businesses will be open.
  • Live music and entertainment will be provided throughout our Downtown.
  • North Bay Farmers' Market will be open and set up (for this weekend only) along Main St. W.
  • Mayhem on Main 5, our annual dirt bike and BMX jumping competition, will run from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm in front of Cheapskates.
  • Mobile Escape rooms will be set up from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
  • Rage in a Cage 4, our dodgeball competition, will conclude at approximately 6:30 pm.
  • Main Events for Sunday, August 6th, 2017 | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • The Summer in the Park Car Show will take place from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and will be set up along Main Street Aug 5, Aug 6.

River Valley Bluegrass Jamboree

River Valley Bluegrass Festivals have been around for more than 30 years and they cater to bluegrass music lovers, as well as campers, Aug 2-6, 2017. North Bay Drum and Dance Festival

The sounds will move you and take you on a trip around the world. Join the North Bay Drum and Dance Festival at the Community Waterfront Park during Summer in the Park. From France to West Africa, this fun-filled cultural experience is sure to move your soul with rhythm. Performances are on stage from 1PM-5PM Saturday and Sunday.
Youth can register for our free drum and dance workshops from 10AM-12PM on both days
