September and a long weekend before school starts! More reasons to celebrate and have fun. Here is the list of local events:

Powassan Fall Fair

The 122nd Powassan Fall Fair runs Labour Day weekend, Sep 2-3, 2017. Heavy Horse Pulls Saturday 1:30pm, and Demolition Derby Sunday 1:30pm.
The Parade will be held on September 2 & will start at 11:00 am. Parade Departs from Eastholme – 62 Big Bend Ave. Travels to Main St. to Clark St. then to Fairgrounds.  All Ages, $7 per day or $10 weekend pass

Summer Hours at the Heritage Railway & Carousel Closing Soon

The Heritage Railway & Carousel Company provides hours of laughter and enjoyment to 100, 000 + visitors each summer who stop by to ride the beautiful carousels and miniature railway at North Bay's Waterfront. Experience the magic of our lovingly restored Heritage Carousel or a nostalgic tour on the Heritage Railway. Tickets are available at our waterfront location or at Discovery North Bay Museum
