Nipissing University 25th Doors Open

Nipissing is inviting everyone in the community to enjoy its amazing campus and everything it has to offer on Saturday, September 16. It's part of NU25, Nipissing’s 25th anniversary celebrations. NU is opening its doors and hosting events for the whole family. There is something cool for everyone to enjoy, including guided trail hikes, Kidz Zone with crafts and activities, the Warriors documentary screenings and director Q & A, barbecue, freezies and popcorn. There will be high performance athletes training and high-intensity practices running in the Athletics Centre, demonstrations in our Physical Health and Education Lab (including how to analyse your golf swing,) and tours of the award-winning Harris Learning Library. There is something for everyone. 
NU25: Doors Open starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 2:00 p.m. The event is free of charge and all are welcome. 
Come to the main lobby and our students and staff will be happy to direct you to the various events taking place.

Makerspace & Lego Club

Makerspace: 12:00 - 1:00, Lego Club: 1:00 - 2:00 Weekly on Saturday. Starting at 12, tinker with some of the newest tech toys, gadgets and games.

Come Try Ringette for Free

West Ferris Ringette Association is hosting a free introduction to ringette session for participants aged 5-15 years old. This is a free event, which provides an opportunity to come and tryout our great sport. All you need to bring is a desire to have fun, skates, helmet and gloves.

Kid Zone Saturday At The Library

Fall Hours at the Heritage Railway & Carousel

The Heritage Railway & Carousel Company provides hours of laughter and enjoyment to 100,000 + visitors each summer who stop by to ride the beautiful carousels and miniature railway at North Bay's Waterfront.
Experience the magic of our lovingly restored Heritage Carousel or a nostalgic tour on the Heritage Railway.
