Christmas Begins In Kearney

The Town of Kearney & the Christmas Tree Farmers of Ontario have joined forces to celebrate Ontario's Christmas Tree Day. The first annual Pointe au Baril Christmas Bazaar is on Saturday Dec. 2, from 10am - 3 pm at the Pointe au Baril Community Centre. Enjoy coffee and cookies on us. Donation to the Harvest Share Food Bank would be appreciated.

Annual Snowflake Bazaar at the Burks Falls United Church

The Annual Snowflake Bazaar is taking place on Saturday December 2, at the Burk's Falls United Church, starting at 10am. There will be by-the-piece Christmas baking, crafts, silent auction and an all-you-can-eat sausage and pancake brunch. Brunch cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 10, and Free for those under 5.

The MacTier Lions Santa Claus Parade 2017 is Saturday Dec 2nd at 1pm. Parade begins at the Lion's Hall. Following the parade meeting with Santa, enjoy some treats and free public skating at the Community Centre.

Visit the Witty Artisans at the Elks Lodge on December 3rd and browse the variety of handmade creations from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Some of the exciting creations include honey products, one of a kind turned wood pieces and hand crafted knives. There will also be Christmas baking; all things maple syrup, butter, sugar & candies; a variety of original artwork; photography; stained glass, a wide selection of handcrafted jewelry; soaps & skin care products; hats, mitts & scarves; unique Santa's, dolls & ornaments; a variety of wood shelves, tables & toys; home decor items plus a great deal more. 
There is plenty of free parking at the Elks Lodge and there is no charge for admission.
