The Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Nipissing and ParrySound established the Ronald L. Lees Award in honour of our past Executive Director.

Ron’s friends and colleagues wanted to ensure that adopted children in the Agency and across the province continue to benefit from the work Ron has promoted and supported in this area. His guidance and leadership have helped to create significant changes in the Child Welfare system, at a community and provincial level.

The annual award will be presented to an adopted child who demonstrates a significant improvement in academic standing and is further his / her education. (university, college, or trade/apprenticeship)
