Services and Programs

Child and Youth Workers

Child and Youth Workers provide a variety of skills and services within the organization. They support children and caregivers in the domains of foster care, kin care, and in-home supports.

Child and Youth Workers focus on trauma-based approaches and use an attachment lens to help parents and caregivers understand their children’s behaviours and how best to support vulnerable children when they are in crisis.

Child and Youth Workers support at risk children and families through individual and/or group support and programming. They assist with increasing life skills, support parenting strategies, and added social supports through interactions with the youth and family in their own environment and in the community.
